Jernail Hayes Finishes Fifth in 400-Meter Hurdles Preliminary Heat at NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. - Seton Hall senior Jernail Hayes finished fifth in her preliminary 400-meter hurdles heat at the NCAA Championships on Wednesday night with a time of 58.38 seconds.  Her time was 13th overall out of 24 competitors, with only the top eight advancing to the finals on Friday. 
The Seton Hall men's and women's 4x400-meter relay teams will both compete in the semifinals tomorrow.  The men run at approximately 9:45 p.m., while the women are slated for 10:15 p.m.  The relay finals are scheduled for Saturday.
