Track and Field Teams Conclude Season at NCAA Championships


EUGENE, Ore. - The Seton Hall track & field teams concluded their season at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Senior Jernail Hayes, along with the men's and women's 4x400-meter relay squads, competed in the preliminary rounds, but were not among the top-eight finishers to advance to the finals.

Hayes finished fifth in her preliminary 400-meter hurdles heat on Wednesday night with a time of 58.38 seconds. Her time was 13th overall out of 24 competitors.

The men's relay team of Antonio Reynolds, Carl Smith, Kamar Ellis, and Christopher Cox finished eighth in their 4x400-meter relay preliminary heat at the on Thursday night with a time of 3:10.44. Their time was 20th overall out of 24 teams. The women's 4x400-meter team of Krista Simkins, Toneisha Friday, Louise Faye, and Nijgia Snapp finished seventh in their 4x400-meter relay preliminary heat on Thursday with a time of 3:41.18. Their time was 21th overall out of 24 teams.
