On Thursday, September 15, 2011 Athletics Director, Patrick Lyons and Director of Pirate Blue, Bryan Felt served as guest speakers at the monthly Shore Setonian Alumni Group Luncheon in Spring Lake, NJ. The Shore Setonians are made up of Monmouth County Alumni who graduated in the 1940's, 50's and 60's.
During the lunch, Lyons spoke of the excitement in leading Seton Hall Athletics, while also previewing some of the upcoming sports seasons. Pat also stressed the importance of alumni support towards Pirate Blue for Seton Hall's athletics program to be successful, "Our goal as an athletics department will be to create a culture of excellence for our student-athletes, alumni and fans, this will only happen with the philanthropic support from all the Seton Hall faithful".
At the conclusion of the discussion, those in attendance had the opportunity to ask questions and mingle with Pat and Bryan. The event was made possible by the group's organizers, Walter Livingston '50 and Frank Walsh '54 along with the Seton Hall University Alumni Relations Office.
