Seton Hall athletics will be participating in and hosting multiple events on the campus of Seton Hall to celebrate Seton Hall Weekend! For a full list of Seton Hall Weekend activities for the entire family, please visit http://www7.shu.edu/shuweekend/.
Kickoff the weekend on the university green in the center of campus on Saturday morning at 11:30am with the Seton Hall cheerleaders, the sapphires dance team, pep band, and the entire Pirate community. Various activities, contests, and entertainment will be available.
Join the Men's and Women's Basketball teams for the Blue and White Games on Saturday in Walsh Gymnasium from 1:00PM-3:00PM. Both programs will compete in various drills followed by a 20 minute intrasquad scrimmage. Exclusive Seton Hall Basketball team posters and a post-game autograph session will take place. Doors open at 12:30PM, and all seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis and free and open to the public.
Feel free to watch the annual Alumni Swimming and Diving Meet beginning at 2:00PM in the Arthur E. Imperattore Natatorium in the Richie Regan Recreation Center. Admission is free and open to the public.
Join Seton Hall Baseball and Seton Hall Athletics as we team with the VS. CANCER FOUNDATION to cure kids' cancer and to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer. The entire baseball team will be shaving their heads in order to raise funds for childhood cancer efforts at Morristown Medical Center and St. Barnabas Medical Center. This event is free and open to the public, and any Pirate fan can join the head shaving commitment. The Seton Hall Baseball team will host its annual Old Timer's Game under the lights at 6:00PM on Owen T. Carroll Field Saturday night. Watch your favorite Pirates of the past take the field!
Lastly, the Seton Hall Women's Soccer team will be partnering with the Sports Equipment Neighborhood Drive (SEND) to host a Give 'n Go game on Sunday, Oct. 6th at 1pm vs. Creighton. Fans coming out to Owen T. Carroll Field are encouraged to bring lightly used soccer equipment that SEND will collect and then redistribute to kids in need. Equipment needed includes: cleats, shin guards, jerseys, shorts, training cones, and soccer balls. All fans that donate will receive a Seton Hall Athletics gift at the collection table in return.
