The Seton Hall Baseball team partnered with the St.Baldrick's Foundation and hosted a BaseBald event Saturday, raising funds and awareness for childhood cancer research. The entire team shaved their heads in solidarity with children fighting cancer after their Alumni Game and Blue-Gray scrimmage on Owen T. Carroll Field.
In conjunction with taking donations online and in person, Seton Hall athletics also sold t-shirts, with profits going to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Total funds raised exceeded $2,000. Players, coaches, community members and Seton-Hall students gathered to support the volunteer-driven St. Baldrick's Foundation, and plan to continue to be involved with the national head shaving event moving forward.
