Seton Hall Athletics to take part in No-Shave November

Nov. 4, 2014 SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Throughout the month of November, members of Seton Hall Athletics will be participating in the No-Shave November campaign to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

Various student-athletes, coaches and administrators will all take part in the month-long initiative that will benefit the American Cancer Society. Seton Hall Athletics will post weekly photo updates at SHUPirates.com as well as on its social media platforms to feature the progress of participants.

Fans are encouraged to join the campaign as well by sending their own No-Shave November photos to the @SHUATHLETICS Twitter and Instagram handles using the #PiratesDontShave hashtag. Along with an online donation page, donation stations will be available at all home men's basketball games during the month of November, beginning with the November 9 exhibition game in Walsh Gymnasium at 12 p.m. against Caldwell University.

All month long, weekly "How's It Growing" updates will be released online and on social media to track the progress of our bearded participants. The participant with the best facial hair performance will be honored on the court at the November 29 men's basketball game against George Washington.
