One of the most versatile and consistent performers in the conference, sophomore Shelbey Manthorpe (Merion Station, Pa.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the sixth time in the last seven weeks on Monday (11/5).

Against the Blue Demons, she dished out a match-high 21 assists to go with seven kills of her own while converting on 50 percent of her swings.
The Preseason All-BIG EAST selection also delivered a quintessential stat sheet-filling performance the match prior, recording her eighth triple-double of the season against Notre Dame. Led by a team-high 32 assists from Manthorpe, Seton Hall provided one of the toughest tests of the season for a Fighting Irish team that holds a 12-1 conference record. Shelbey also added 11 kills and 14 digs on her way to the 12th triple-double of her young career.
For the year, the Merion Station native is tops on the squad with 764 assists and 17 double-doubles. She ranks second with 219 kills and a .259 hitting percentage, and her 296 digs is the third-highest total on the team.
