No-Shave November: How's It Growing- Update #1

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Throughout the month of November, members of Seton Hall Athletics will be participating in the No-Shave November campaign to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

Various coaches and administrators will all take part in the month-long initiative that will benefit the American Cancer Society. Seton Hall Athletics will post weekly photo updates on SHUPirates.com and its social media platforms to highlight the progress of its participants.

Fans are encouraged to join the campaign as well by sending their own No-Shave November photos to the @SHUATHLETICS Twitter and Instagram handles using the #PiratesDontShave hashtag.

Current members of Seton Hall Athletics participating are: head men's golf coach Clay White (1), Assistant Athletic Director for student-athlete development Roberto Sasso (2), Pirate Blue Athletic Fund Assistant Director Josh Karp (3), Learfield Sports Marketing Coordinator Bill Hoermann (4), Associate Director of Athletics Communications Vincent Novicki (5), Athletics Marketing Intern Jeff Kuper (6), Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations Brian Connor (7), Varsity Athletics Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations Chris Carl (8), Assistant Athletics Director for Development Jay Judge (9) and men's basketball head coach Kevin Willard (10).

All month long, weekly "How's It Growing" updates will be released online and on social media to track the progress of our bearded participants. The participant with the best facial hair performance will be recognized at the November 29 men's basketball game against George Washington.
