SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Throughout the month of November, members of Seton Hall Athletics will be participating in the No-Shave November campaign to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
Various coaches and administrators will all take part in the month-long initiative that will benefit the American Cancer Society. Seton Hall Athletics will post weekly photo updates on SHUPirates.com and its social media platforms to highlight the progress of its participants.
Fans are encouraged to join the campaign as well by sending their own No-Shave November photos to the @SHUATHLETICS Twitter and Instagram handles using the #PiratesDontShave hashtag.
Current members of Seton Hall Athletics participating are: Assistant Athletics Director for Development Jay Judge (1), Associate Athletics Director for Development and External Affairs Bryan Felt (2), Pirate Blue Athletic Fund Assistant Director Josh Karp (3), Associate Director of Athletics Communications Vincent Novicki (4), Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations Jim Semerad (5), assistant men's/women's swimming and diving coach Derek Sapp (6), head men's golf coach Clay White (7), Varsity Athletics Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations Chris Carl (8), Assistant Athletic Director for student-athlete development Roberto Sasso (9) and Learfield Sports General Manager Danny Smith (10).
All month long, weekly "How's It Growing" updates will be released online and on social media to track the progress of our bearded participants. The participant with the best facial hair performance will be recognized at the November 29 men's basketball game against George Washington.
