"Once A Pirate, Always A Pirate" - Pirate Blue Launches New Marketing Campaign

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The Pirate Blue Athletic Fund has unveiled a new annual giving theme - Once A Pirate, Always A Pirate.  The theme will be used starting December 1, 2009 and throughout 2010.  Images from the campaign will appear on the video board during men's home basketball games at Prudential Center along with a direct mail and web campaign.


The campaign showcases current Seton Hall student-athletes reflecting on their experiences at Seton Hall.  A key goal for the campaign is to encourage alumni, parents and fans of Seton Hall Athletics to support the young men and women who wear a Pirates uniform by making a gift to Pirate Blue.  The campaign is designed to show that we are all Pirates and are all responsible for maintaining our proud athletics tradition.  Click here to view all of the campaign's ads.




A large focus of the campaign will also be to convince former Seton Hall student-athletes to give back to the athletics programs.  Much like the former student-athlete, today's student-athletes commit themselves to the daily pursuit of excellence and work diligently to extend the tradition so future generations can enjoy the collective pride of what it means to be a Seton Hall Pirate.


Pirate Blue is vital to the Seton Hall Athletics as it provides the support necessary to enhance the student-athlete experience for over 260 deserving athletes.
