Track & Field Hosts Seton Hall Open to Begin Indoor Slate



SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The Seton Hall men's and women's track & field teams opened up the indoor season in the Richard and Sheila Regan Fieldhouse for the Seton Hall Open on Sunday. Two females earned the first two BIG EAST Indoor Championship berths for the Pirates.


Sophomore Chrarisse Bryant (Virginia Beach, Va.) finished in first place in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.97 in the finals of the event. Freshman Janay Mitchell took second place in the 60-meter dash, clocking in at 7.79 in final run.


Sophomore Keshia Rudolph (Chesapeake, Va.) finished second in the 800-meter run, hitting a time of 2:25.86, respectively. Senior Dorian Ellerbe (South Orange, N.J.) won the men's 1,000-meter run, crossing the finish line in 2:43.57.


The Pirates host another meet next weekend, the Seton Hall Games, next Sunday, December 13.
