SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - A group of Seton Hall athletes and administrators paid a special visit to the Children's Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick on Tuesday, December 15, to bring some holiday cheer to patients.
Student-athletes decorated cookies, donated by Gourmet Dining Services, and holiday cards on Monday, and eight student-athletes delivered the cookies and cards to the children at the hospital the following day.
"The patients really enjoyed our presence and the student-athletes really enjoyed giving back," Coordinator for Student Athlete Development and Leadership Melanie Calderwood said. "We were able to see almost all of the kids there, and they were very appreciative of our support."
