Members of Seton Hall Athletics take part in No-Shave November to raise funds for American Cancer Society
Jay Judge joined the Seton Hall University Department of Athletics as the Assistant Athletics Director for Development in August 2012. As the Assistant Athletics Director for Development, Judge oversees the day-to-day operations of the Pirate Blue Athletic Fund, which works with Seton Hall alumni and fans to raise funds to benefit Seton Hall University's 14 varsity athletic programs.
Prior to coming to Seton Hall Judge spent four years acting in various roles for the Department of Athletics at his alma mater, Iona College. He was the Assistant to the Athletics Director, current Seton Hall Director of Athletics Patrick Lyons, for two years. He worked directly with Lyons in the everyday operation of the department in addition to serving as the director for the athletic department's work study program and coordinating travel for athletic teams and staff.
Judge was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance at Iona starting in September 2010, a post he held for one year. He directed all aspects of Iona's compliance program, certifying student-athlete eligibility in addition to maintaining NCAA squad lists. Judge also helped implement community outreach projects and oversaw the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
Judge became the Assistant Athletics Director for Development in August 2011, overseeing all aspects of athletics development including the Iona College Goal Club, the Hall of Fame Golf Outing and serving as a liaison between the department of athletics and the college's advancement office. In that role Judge was the sport administrator for volleyball, softball and men's soccer.
Judge graduated from Iona with a bachelor's degree in marketing in 2007, and completed his master's degree in management with a sports and entertainment certificate in 2009.
He currently resides in Hopewell Junction, N.Y. with his wife Diana.
