SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. -- The Seton Hall men's soccer team concludes the regular season on Thursday afternoon when it welcomes Villanova to Owen T. Carroll Field. Kick-off is set for 1:05 p.m. on the BIG EAST Digital Network/FOX Sports GO. Prior to the match, The Hall will honor its senior class of Danny Bartok (Union, N.J.), Julian Kennedy (Nindorf, Germany), Eric Lagg (Lafayette, N.J.) and Jeremy Witherspoon (South Orange, N.J.). The quartet has combined to play in 171 matches with over 100 starts and nearly 10,000 minutes logged between them.

In its most recent outing, Seton Hall dropped a 3-0 contest at Xavier on Saturday, Oct. 31. The Hall was out-shot 15-7 in the setback, with Kennedy and Alex Pozesky (Columbia, Pa.) pacing the Pirates with two attempts apiece. In goal, Brandon Barnes (Cary, Ill.) tied his season and career-high with seven saves, most for a Seton Hall keeper in a match this season.

Bartok leads The Hall with four goals on the year, including three in BIG EAST play. Andres Arcila (Cartagena, Colombia) paces The Hall with three assists and is tied with Samuel Geiler (Offenburg, Germany) for second on the squad with seven points. Kennedy and Lagg have each totaled three points, while Lukas Pangonis (Kaunas, Lithuania) has dished out two assists.

Villanova visits The Hall with an 8-8-0 record on the year and a 3-5-0 mark in BIG EAST play, currently fighting for one of the finals spots in the upcoming BIG EAST Championship. The Wildcats are led by the high-scoring duo of Patrick McCullagh and Sean Sheridan, who have each notched 15 points this season. Sheridan leads VU with six goals and McCullagah paces the side along with Miguel Polley with five assists. In goal, Will Steiner has started all 16 contests and holds a 1.70 GAA with a .750 save percentage and three shutouts.

Seton Hall and Villanova have faced off 31 times in the past, with the Pirates up 19-11-1 in the all-time set. Last season the teams drew 1-1 in Villanova, with The Hall getting a goal from Kai Greene and five saves from Julian Spindler. VU’s last visit to South Orange came in 2013, a 2-1 victory for the Pirates thanks to an 83rd minute goal from Max Garcia. Geiler had two assists in the match.

Thursday's match will mark the conclusion of the 2015 season for the Pirates.
