SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The Seton Hall University softball team's non-conference game at Hofstra University schedule for Tuesday, April 15, at 4 p.m., has been cancelled due to the threat of inclement weather throughout the day. No makeup date has been announced.
The Pirates are coming off a 2-1 series victory at home over Creighton University last weekend, which leaves the Hall in third place in the BIG EAST Conference standings with a 5-4 record and three series already in the books.
Tuesday afternoon's scheduled contest with regional power Hofstra represented the only midweek test for the Pirates before a stretch of back-to-back BIG EAST Series during Easter week.
The Hall will begin a three-game set at St. John's University with a doubleheader this Thursday, April 17, in Queens, N.Y., starting at 12 p.m., with the series finale to follow on Saturday afternoon.
The Pirates will then makeup their three-game series at Villanova, which was originally scheduled for March 29-30, next Monday-Tuesday, April 21-22. The series starts with a doubleheader on Monday beginning at 1 p.m., with a single game scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
